Editorial policy
Fresh Running Review aims to make running topics clear, useful and fair. We explain the basis of our wording and correct errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual claims against suitable reference material before publication and use careful wording where a subject has exceptions. We distinguish established information from interpretation, avoid unsupported certainty and revise text when a claim cannot be sustained.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for reader relevance, not to secure a sale or favour a partner. Commercial relationships do not determine our conclusions, and material that serves a commercial purpose is identified clearly.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to flag a possible error, with the article title and the detail in question. We review the concern and amend material when warranted; significant changes are made clear in the article.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; where relevant, the image caption or credit will say so.
